Clarence Jazz Club was born in 2013 in the heart of Malaga, at the foot of the Cathedral, in a small place, with a New York-style decoration, it began its journey as a reference Jazz Club within the province of Malaga and little by little little in Andalusia. Local, national and international musicians have passed through the Clarence, from various countries such as Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico or the United States and from Europe such as France, Italy, the United Kingdom or Germany.

It gives about 200 concerts a year, with a continuous program around Jazz, where the base is the well-being of the visitor with exceptional care for the concerts and also the service to create a unique atmosphere to enjoy live music.

In 2018 it had to close the doors of the old premises for external reasons and it is at this moment that its growth in another venue is planned to settle within the national circuit and also reach an important international circuit. For this, a place with specific characteristics was sought that would accommodate the growth of its clients as well as the big bands.

In 2019 and just 13 kilometers from the old club, in Torremolinos, it is reborn with a great venue designed by and for Jazz with a very careful decoration and studied acoustics to delight music lovers. This new venue has two floors, the first with a stage for small concerts and capacity for 200 people and a very attractive decoration where it is always open to listen to music both live and with our selection of music or concerts on a giant screen. In addition to this room, it has a lower floor, with capacity for more than 500 people, where with a careful atmosphere, decoration, service and club layout, our main stage receives the concerts with a first-class backline, which presides over our grand piano. tail made by hand for our club, an impressive Shigeru Kawai SK7.

Both floors, decorated with paintings and photographs of great jazz musicians, invite you to let yourself be carried away by the magic of this genre that always grows live.

Without a doubt, since its opening, it has become one of the reference clubs in Europe, being the largest Jazz Club in Spain by size. In its first months, great figures such as Chano Domínguez, Diego Amador, Jorge Pardo, Miguel Zenón, Eli Degibri, Luis Salinas, Vince Benedetti or Javier Colina have passed.

In addition, Clarence Jazz Club has its own band, the Clarence Jazz Band, which is responsible for accompanying guest musicians, opening Jam Sessions or events organized by the club.
