A WINERY WITH HISTORY
Winery with a family tradition, whose origin was the small solera of Sherry Vinegars developed since 1910 by Don Francisco Páez Sánchez, the basis and inspiration for his son Don Antonio Páez Lobato to found this winery in 1945.
Our seal of distinction is being pioneers in the breeding and marketing of Reserva and Gran Reserva Sherry Vinegars, being a benchmark in the quality of this product appreciated by the most prestigious kitchens in the world.
Furthermore, at Bodegas Páez Morilla, since the 80s, we began to dedicate ourselves to the creation of atypical wines for the Jerez region, such as “Tierra Blanca”, a famous Andalusian white wine or “Viña Lucía”, which was the first red wine bottled aging from the region.
Another attraction of this winery is our dedication to winening Sherry butts. Bodegas Páez Morilla wines more than 50,000 casks that are exported to their destination distilleries to age Whiskeys.
The visit is a different alternative and a unique experience for the senses. Walk among the array of casks in our wine cellar, discover how Sherry Vinegar is aged, delight in the tastings of our wines and vinegars, enjoy our collection of labels from the wineries in the Jerez area and be surprised by the exhibition of photographs from the beginning of the 20th century. XX: WINDOWS TO A VANISHED PAST.
